Paper Clay Sculptures - Angela Sidwell

Angela is a ceramic and mixed media artists based in Cheshire. Her sculptures are made from paper clay. The fibres allows her to stretch and tear pushing the material as far as it can before it breaks, leaving the rough edges. She also incorporates wire into some of her pieces which can be physically challenging and also visually, with the conflict between the juxtaposition of the two materials.

Her work explores the relationships between human and non-human animals. where urban environment meets nature.
